Meeting Up is always fun!

I had a wonderful time Thursday evening at the Charlotte Wedding and Event Planning Meet Up that was held at the The Palmer Building . Which is an 1930s building that has recently been restored by the Charlotte Fire Fighters Association as an elegant reception and special events venue.

Each month the meet up highlights a profession in the event industry and provide them with a forum to advertise and discuss trends in their industry and best business practices.

This month's "Who's Who" is Wedding and Event Planners. On the panel we had:

Tammi Cole, Owner, Elegant Creations Wedding and Event Planning and The Bridal House Jessica Keyes, Event Planner, Captain Gus’ Lake Norman Laugh Liner

David Klingel, Special Events Manager, the Mint Museum of Art

Everyone spoke candidly about their successes, pitfulls, and tips in marketing on how to make your business successful.
